Conceptual Design 1599 is an updated version of The Keegan house plan 946. This plan is Conceptual Design 1586 with a bonus room. The board-and-batten exterior is complemented by stone while decorative wooden brackets and metal roof accents offer rustic charm.

From the front porch, step into the foyer with a coat closet for guests. The dining room is open with a tray ceiling and columns defining the perimeter. The great room and kitchen are a shared living space with a cathedral ceiling and a clerestory window to bring in natural light. The great room enjoys a fireplace and opens to a rear deck. In the kitchen, find a center island, a window over the sink, and a nearby pantry and storage closet.

The master suite is a private retreat with a cathedral ceiling, a walk-in closet, a linen closet, and a bathroom with a dual-sink vanity and a walk-in shower. To the opposite side of the floor plan, two bedrooms share a bathroom and a linen closet.

The two-car garage provides multiple storage options and the utility closet is an efficient use of space in this modest floor plan. An optional bonus room is above the garage for a media room, home theater, or a future expansion.

Swap kitchen and dining room to have wall of windows at back and roomier kitchen with great windows above sink and square island. Agree with covered back porch and adding bathroom/closet to bonus. Thanks!

Turn the vaulted ceiling around in the master bedroom so it follows the natural roofline, I understand you did it so they would be a more appealing rear façade. In its place add a covered porch a house this small needs a great outdoor living area. Make a separate entrance for the bonus area upstairs and try to add in a full bathroom and closet with a window large enough for egress would make a nice Airbnb unit or in law suite.

For functional reasons, I'd like to see the pantry and W/D switched so it would be a straight shot from the garage to the pantry. Nice plan.
