Conceptual Design 1566 is an updated version of The Tanner house plan 1418. Cedar shakes and stone complement the siding exterior while arched windows create curb-appeal.

The foyer opens directly into the great room and a cathedral ceiling extends out to a covered porch with skylights. A fireplace warms the living spaces and a coat closet is convenient for guests. The kitchen revolves around a large center island and a pantry provides abundant storage. The dining room enjoys a tray ceiling and large windows welcome rear views. The two-car garage enters the home through a drop zone, providing a place to drop coats, bags, and shoes. The utility room is adjoining and features a laundry sink, cabinets for storage, and a pocket door that closes to keep messes out of sight.

The master suite lives large with a double door entry, cathedral ceiling and a wall of windows. The spacious walk-in closet has a window to bring in natural light. A dual-sink vanity and walk-in shower in the master bathroom are enhanced by skylights. Two generous secondary bedrooms complete the floor plan and share a full bathroom with double sinks and a linen closet.

I feel this would look better if the dining room was in the front, so the kitchen window (which looks a little small in the front view) would be in the back.
